Another good parallel to draw, is that the NLSP router id is like
a "net" address in IS-IS. I find that making these types of
"associations" between concepts makes everything that much easier to
remember. Caslow does this heavily in his book where he is always
associating concepts like "dialer maps" with "frame maps" etc. So that
when you move between technologies their is common ground.
