Try lowering the 'dialer enable-timeout' values. Although sometimes it
seems to make BOD wig-out...

When configuring ISDN in a callback server scenanrio there is a
significant
delay before the callback completes. For example if I issue a standard
ping
to the ip address of the other end of the ISDN circuit, the five pings
that
are sent timeout and then the bri comes up and I am able to subsequently
ping. If I issue just one ping there's a delay of 4-5 seconds before the
callback request is completed.

Is this normal? Are there was to tune this. I'm also using chap
authentication and one end is legacy the other dialer profiles. In any
variation like this the results are the same. Configs are below.
