hi guys,
when I was doing this scenario, I noticed something:
1- I can summarize from the area2 to backbone (no problem)
2- I cant summarize from backbone outside to area 2 through area range
command ( the summary route is not distribute to area2's routers, no way)
the only way I founded is to redistribute from ospf [on router 2] to the
eigrp then when redistributing from eigrp to ospf i used summary-addres to
summarize the feed back of the backbone area network, and it worked, its
redistributed ad external route.
the question y it didnt work to summarize from the backbone area to the
outer areas?
any idea?
