Beware - OSPF will send equal amounts of data down each link that it
perceives as one of the equal-cost paths. So you have a 56K frame and an
OC192, and you have adjusted the costs to appear equal then you're in for a
real fun time!
In a production network, this might not be the best idea, depending upon the
variance in the actual line speeds and topology.

There is no variance command.
You can artificially adjust the cost on the links to make them appear to
OSPF as equal.
