firstly, if you are running peer-on-demand (pod) you don't want to have a
fully meshed network, this is because the point of pod is to create a
virtual connection of 2 spoke routers via the border router. I do remember
getting it working though by just using ping, but I may have had a pc
connection running as well, if you have the time to spend on it, it may be
worthwhile to set up the pc's you don't need atoken ring NIC, just have the
two Windows workstations run NetBEUI, it is difficult to do, I was never
successful setting it up and I have a friend who is a CCIE who couldn't get
it working either, but I have another friend whpo got it working with no
problem, try some experimenting, run some debugs and see what you come up
with.
