that's absolutely right.
When you filter an incoming LSA it will be recorded in the
OSPF process, but it will not be entered into the routing
table.

Another way for this condition to occur would be to
filter the route and have the LSA data still there. Thus
no route in the Routing table but the OSPF database
shows the route. Have an example somewhere just have to
find the darn thing. Will try to post. To much data and
not enough memory. Maybe someone else could help out
here.
