It's not a rumor. There have been many reports from people that they have
had to troubleshoot a different lab than that which they worked on. It's
not consistent though. Some people get their own labs and others don't. I
don't know what the criteria is in order to receive a different lab for that
section. It may just be the proctors whim. However from what I've heard
it's not someone elses pod - its just a different lab. I'm guessing the
proctors have preconfigured troubleshooting labs that they load on the
routers during the break.

I think it's a good idea. Quite often I have to enter unfamiliar
environments to troubleshoot. It's all part of being a good engineer.

I've heard the same thing - And after consideration, I think the situation
does make sense if you have managed get enough points to make it to
troubeshooting, yet your network is in such a mess already that it would
make it too difficult for the proctor to "break-it" in a controlled enough
manner.

Just my theory, not based on mine or anyone else's actual experience.
