Heh -- I did check that apparent filesize weirdness. If you look at the
image that I was trying when I saved this log, it was an IP only image. The
byte counts do match the image I was sending.
I have remedied the problem. Thanks to Jeff Kesemeyer for sending me the
IOS image. It helped me figure out that there's something bizarre going on
with Cisco's web servers, screwing up IOS images en route to me. I FTPed
the original image I needed, "c2500-js-l.112-26.P.bin", and re-tftp'ed the
image with no problems. I honestly have no idea what was causing this, but
the only thing I can come up with is that the files were hosed en route to
me from the Cisco web servers. Thanks to all for your suggestions, and now,
on to what I was originally trying to accomplish 5 hours ago -- RIP, BGP,
and ISIS redistribution! Whew-hew!
What a great group!
Bottom line: FTP your images directly from ftp.cisco.com after you consult
the IOS Upgrade Planner for the filename. I've never had problems before
today, so I guess it was just my lucky day.
