Maybe I have misunderstood, but I thought when you have,
cisco 2500 (68030) processor (revision D) with 4096K/2048K bytes of memory.
That really means that you have 4MB of memory and that the 2MB was soldered
on board but wasn't really counted as memory that was usable for the IOS. I
really don't know what the distinction is. If this is the case then the 6MB
RAM requirement for the IOS you want isn't really being met.

Nope, that was just me renaming the file on my TFTP server and trying that
as a possible issue. I was trying anything I could think of. Still having
the problem tho. This is a weird one. I must be missing something
fundamental here or something.
