Actually, the commands you suggest will set those timers to default values -
120 seconds for idle-timeout and 20 seconds for fast-idle.

In order to set idle-timeout to infinite, it needs to be set with command
dialer idle-timeout 0. There is no way to set infinite fast-idle, which
should not be an issue for this particular application. Fast-idle is used to
drop an idle line to place another call, but if there will be only one
location to be dialed, then this will not apply.

How do you keep an isdn line up permanently? The highest you can set the
dialer idle-timeout is 2147483.
