Dear Padhu,

In desktop is not supported.

You are right.

This is something new for me.

IOS still is something that you can not learn by hart I think.

This group is very usefull if you have the time to read all the messages :(

Pls check your IOS version ...Is it enterprise ? I had 2 routers connected
back to back to provide 4 frame ports untill i got my frame switch . It
should work.

Pls check the archives ..I remember posting a working config sometime ago.

Cheers,Padhu

Frame-relay route commands is working only with serials and not with tunnels
!

The correct syntax is

interface serial 0
Frame-relay route 501 interface serial 1 105

interface serial 1
Frame-relay route 105 interface serial 0 501

Hope it helps

Subject: Frame Relay Switch with 2 Routers

Hi,

I am following the document from CCprep to create a frame relay switch from
two 2501s. When I come to enter the following command:
'frame-relay route 501 interface t0 105'
in interface mode on Serial 1, the router reports an error in the command
syntax with 't' or even the full word 'tunnel'. When I replace 't0' with a
?
the response is that it only expects the word 'serial'.
I have tried IOS ver 11.1, 11.2 and 12.0 with the same problem on different
routers - anybody have any ideas?

Thanks.
