Hmmm... I have a 2503 and a 2525 connected to my Teltone Demonstrator. I
never config'ed the Demonstrator at all... just used it right out of the
box. The 2525 has U interface, so it connects directly. The 2503 connects
through an Adtran ACE1, just like yours.
Everything works fine in my scenario.
The ISDN switch type on the routers is basic-ni.
Try a very vanilla config at first - no chap authentication, use physical
interfaces, etc. and see what you get.
Post your configs if you still have difficulties.
