I DID IT!!!

I got my number, 7220 on Monday the 16th from SJ on my first attempt. It was
a very cool experience, but I am glad I never have to take that exam again!
It is really tough waiting to see if there is a binder on your desk and it
is sad to see other really good people not make it.

Studying:

I bought 9 routers and a switch for my lab
I used CCbootcamp labs, I did all of them
I did the CCIE Lab Practice Kit (all except for the LANE, DEC, LAT and
Appletalk)
I studied every day for 4 months
I read most of the Cisco Press books over the last 4 years
I read most of the Doc CD and new where to find everything (it did help)
Practiced speed!!!

Last minute tips:

Before arriving at the test site remind yourself that this is your day and
you have worked for this and just enjoy the experience. Don't beat yourself
up for mistakes.

Credit:

I would like to thank my husband for his support and patience, the support
of my friends and family, the CCIE study group from Lucent NPS, Mark Russell
and Brad Ellis for the BootCamp labs and the routers, and the groupstudy
group for the great material.
