Hello, everyone,

I am missing something with SR/TLB concept. I hope somebody can help.

I have R3--R6--R4, where R3 has eth interface and R4 - token ring. R6
(2513) is supposed to do SR/TLB.

R3:
interface Ethernet0/0
 mac-address 0001.0001.0001
 ip address 192.168.10.3 255.255.255.0
 no ip directed-broadcast
!

R4:
!
interface TokenRing0
 mac-address 0003.0003.0003
 ip address 192.168.10.4 255.255.255.0
 no ip directed-broadcast
 ring-speed 16
 multiring all
end

R6:
!
 source-bridge ring-group 100
 source-bridge transparent 100 200 2 6
!
interface Ethernet0
 mac-address 0002.0002.0002
 bridge-group 6
!
bridge 6 protocol ieee
!
interface TokenRing0
 mac-address 0004.0004.0004
 ring-speed 16
 source-bridge 5 2 100
 source-bridge spanning
!

R4 and R6's token ring interfaces are connected to TRCRF 0x5. TRBRF for
that is 0x1. My pings are unsuccessful. On R3 I can see R4's mac address
though:

R3#sh arp
Protocol Address Age (min) Hardware Addr Type Interface
Internet 192.168.10.3 - 0001.0001.0001 ARPA Ethernet0/0
Internet 192.168.10.4 7 0003.0003.0003 ARPA Ethernet0/0

(it's funny I thought I would see it in non-canonical format)

On R4 I don't see any sign of R3.

R6 shows that bridge is receiving packets.
R6#sh bri

Total of 300 station blocks, 298 free
Codes: P - permanent, S - self

Bridge Group 6:

Address Action Interface Age RX count TX count
0001.0001.0001 forward Ethernet0 0 4 0
00c0.00c0.00c0 forward RingGroup100 0 4 0

When I ping from R3 to R4 for each ping packet I get

00:49:55: SRB: To0: sent explorer at interrupt, [C810.0C82.0642.0050]

(I read: Ring200-Bridge2-Ring100-Bridge2-Ring5).

Is this how it's supposed to be ? Why do I have 2 bridges with same
number in RIF ?

Sorry for long message but I thought somebody with TR experice could take
a look. There is no physical problems. I have reloaded routers billion
times. Has anyone configured SR/TLB ?

What am I missing ? Thank you for your time !!
