Hi Rodger,

The "non-broadcast" and "point-to-multipoint" keywords added to IOS from
11.3(AA).

Subject: ip ospf network point-to-point command and loopback interface

Hi, all,

Just wanna make sure I'm not going insane, but in the older IOS's (11.2, for
example), the command "ip ospf network point-to-point" isn't available (the
router wouldn't take) under loopback interfaces, or is it just some step
needed beforehand? For instance, "encap frame" is needed before a
point-to-point or point-to-multipoint sub-interface can be specified.

In the 12.0 IOS, it seems to work fine.

Thanks for the info,

Rog
