Hi Nigel

1. The callback is done by ppp or isdn layer not at layer 3 (IP or IPX) so call
back ie nothing do with ip or ipx.

2. you need deny diagnostic, serialization and broadcast traffics.

Subject:IPX DDR and Callback

All,
I was going through some IPX DDR and I'm having problems getting ISDN
callback to work. Also, I checked the
archives and the other problem I'm having is keeping the line quiet. I keep
getting broadcast (FFFF.FFFF.FFFF) listed as interesting traffic on my
"dialer-list 1 protocol ipx list 901" which has the following;

access 901 deny any any all any rip
access 901 deny any any all any sap
access 901 deny any any all any 457
access 901 deny any any all any all

the only way I got the line to keep quiet was using the additional statement

access 901 deny any any all node.FFFF.FFFF.FFFF

On the interface I am using "ipx watchdog spoof" and "ipx spx-spoof".

I've searched the Doc CD & CCO and found no sample configs of IPX callback..
Does this mean that it only configured with IP in which case IP does the
callback..?

TIA

Nigel..
