RE: IPX tunnels over sub-interfaces

I am using tunnels all the time without any problems !

But recently I have found out that in some versions of 12
there are some STRANGE problems with tunnels, like the
one is being described here .

I am always using loopbacks for my source and destination
and usually when I would like to pass only IPX traffic the
tunnel has not any IP address on it.

But for testing purposes only you must put IP addresses in order to
see if the tunnel is working as it should.

Regards

Elias

I am not sure if it's relevant or not. There is a known issue with
creating more than 1-2 tunnels sourcing physical interfaces with some
versions of 12.0 on low end routers. Try to source from loopback on your
hub router (if you are not doing it already).
