I have to disagree with Chuck on this one. Graduate School is an entirely
different
animal than the CCIE. CCIE is hands on - know the itty bitty details about how
a protocols works. Graduate School is much broader in scope - learning to
write papers, research,
case studies - more well rounded if you want to project lead, manage etc.
Three years ago I chose to do a graduate program at the Universtity of
Boulder instead
of the CCIE. I would make that decision again. graduate school - a good
one - gets you to
think outside the box of configuring a router to do X. Depends what you
want to
do in life - do you want to work in a NOC pounding out router configs and
troubleshoot networks, do you
want to design networks, do you want to manage technical projects. Then get
the correct training for
what you want to do.
