Dear all,
I am practicing SNMP configuration now.
There have been several threads on how to limit access to the ARP/IP
routing table.
So I entered the following config:
snmp-server view view_1 internet included
snmp-server view view_1 ipRouteTable excluded
snmp-server view view_1 ipNetToMediaPhysAccess excluded
to give polling access to everything but the the abovementionned tables.
All three commands were accepted, w/o the bad-looking "bad OID"
Looking at the config (even after a "wr"), I could only find out the
following command:
snmp-server view view_1 internet included
=> the two later lines seems not to be included!!
II tried several variations (do no include the first line, different
order), but the two last lines were never to be seen in the "sh run".
Any idea?
