Tariq,
I've never experienced a router not taking the clock rate command. Let's try
something could you....
1. Type frame-relay switching
2. One the one on the serials type frame-relay interface type dce
3. If it takes #2 then attempt the clock rate
4. If the above fails, what version of IOS are you running, have you tried a
higher version?
5. Does the bug toolkit display any problems in the current version?
Let us know, if I ever purchase a 4500 for my lab this would be good informatio
n
to know.
