ATM Switching question

Can anyone tell me if I can set up an ATM router (ie GSR) as a switch =
(ie like frame-relay switching) so that I can hook a couple of atm =
routers into it so that I can do things like discover the nsap address =
with show ilmi-status or ilmi-pvc-discovery etc.
