you're right and I think I wasn't clear before... *in reference to your
question*, the only 2600's that support FastEthernet are 2620, 21, 50, and
51... you can put a NM-1FE in any 2600, but you can't trunk or channel...
actually, someone speak up if you know otherwise, but I think the fact that
normal traffic can be passed on a NM-1FE in a 261x router in the series is
not actually supposed to work. Check it out:

No.. These comes with BUILT-IN FastE, but 261x also supports FastE.. Only
prob is that I don't think it supports ISL , not even with FastE...
Of course.. I may be wrong and that some new IOS updates fixed that...
