Yup, two 6 foot tall 19" racks with acoustic foam inside to reduce the
noise. 11 routers to date, a teltone ISND simulator and two Catalysts. 2
twenty amp isolated circuits feed this lab and there are multiple servers,
laptops and desktops. I still hold my breath when I power up that last
couple of pieces of equipment. A huge pile of multicolored Cat5 cables and
fiber piled under a card table that serves as a workbench when working on a
piece of equipment. This endeavor fills up a complete 10x10 spare bedroom.
All horizontal space occupied by piles of books and 1/2" thick white papers,
design guides, etc from Cisco. The TFTP server has almost 1000 different
router configs on it.

Of course, I am not complaining at all about the hourly rate I get to
charge! :-)

I don't need to get a life, this IS my life!

This little room of mine is crammed full of stuff. Routers, PC's, stacks of
books and printouts and papers.

It's depressing.
