Hi,

Inhouse we are testing Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server, which
uses the server as the junction - this supports multicast and all you need
is IE5 and Windows 2000 clients (flexible huh?) - all components are via web
interface, ActiveX controls are used to deliver video streams.

Typically for a system (I am no expert on this) you would need:

Client Side:
1. Video/Audio Hardware
2. Interface to Computer Applications

Server Side:
1. E.g. MS Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server

Network Side:
1. Multicast routing

Subject: OFF TOPIC - IP Video Conferencing Information?

I am trying to put together a list of hardware that will enable
VideoConferencing over IP, IP/VC. Does anyone know where I can find some
readable and understandable information of what the components of such a
system are? Cisco's website has some info, but it is very unclear. Thanks.
