When in map-class configuration mode, I have a question about the
"frame-relay be" command.
I know that I must put in a number (in bits) after "frame-relay be" which
according to the doc CD is the "excess-burst-size."
To me this means I must put in the difference between bc and be, and not
bc+be. Am I correct?
For example, assuming that Tc is 125ms and I have a CIR of 48K burstable to
64K, I would configure my map-class as follows:
r2(config)#map-class frame-relay myclass
r2(config-map-class)frame-relay cir 48000
r2(config-map-class)frame-relay bc 6000
r2(config-map-class)frame-relay be 2000
Is this correct?
Also, I noticed there is another command I can use in map-class config mode:
"frame-relay traffic-rate 48000 64000"
Does this command accomplish the same thing?
Thanks for your input.
