Mitch,
It is hard to let you know what to expect except to repeat a friends advice
and say think slow, and type fast. Don't let the hype and your nerves get
the best of you. They did me the first time. The test is definitely passable
the first time.
With only 2 weeks to go your a little short on time to be cramming for this
test. It isn't a MCSE it's the CCIE so just keep working on as many lab
scenarios as you can and get to know the doc CD so you can look things up in
a hurry. Know the basics cold so you have time for the stuff your not as
comfortable with. I would recommend going to the ECP1 class 45-60 days
before your lab so you can work on the weak area's but it is a little late
for that. The first time I took ECP1 2 weeks before and there wasn't enough
time to fine tune what I learned. My second attempt is this Wednesday so I
feel your pain. Good luck

Subject: First Attempt Any Advice

Hi all,
I am taking my first CCIE lab exam on March 8 and 9 in
San Jose. Any advice for a first timer on the final
two week of the exam, ie. recommended books, website,
etc.
Thanks
Mitch
