Mitch,
Practice doing your diagram a couple of times. If you've got access to
an ASET or CCBootcamp lab, try diagramming one of the more complicated labs
with 7 or 8 routers. Include all layer 3 addresses, area numbers, etc. I
spent an hour and a half doing my diagram and addressing my first attempt.
This was way too long in my opinion. Also, finish all your layer 2
addressing on the devices before moving onto layer 3. I wasted half an hour
trying to figure out a routing protocol problem I was having, because I had
forgotten to configure a layer 2 device first. Good luck.
Chuck

Subject: First Attempt Any Advice
Hi all,
I am taking my first CCIE lab exam on March 8 and 9 in
San Jose. Any advice for a first timer on the final
two week of the exam, ie. recommended books, website,
etc.
Thanks
Mitch
