Just a suggestion, but if you are referring to the FD flat screen tube
monitors, they are nice, but not as nice as the active, bright, 1024x768 LCD
screens on most high end laptops. I have found I can stare for hours at a
LCD screen and not have the strain associated with the CRTs. Also, something
else may be affecting you. Most people don't notice it, but it is a real pet
peeve with me when I see someone's monitor at 60-70Hz. It has a slight
flicker that strains my eyes rapidly. I only have monitors that can do at
least 85Hz (and a supporting video card), so if you are sub 85Hz, that may
be one reason. Hope this helps.

Apologies for off topic but I'm suffering. Constant exposure to PC monitor
while lab prep is killing my eyes.

Any ideas if the latest flat screen monitors are nay better (at radiation
levels & generally for eyes)? Any other recommendations?

Many thanks & regards.
