If you can get ahold of a 29xx series switch with the crescendo IOS then you
wouldnt need the more expensive 5500 components, the crescendo IOS is the
same as the 5000 series and the hardware would basically be the same as a
5000 series with a supervisor engine and a ethernet switching module, but
wont cost as much.
