I don't have time to set this lab up right now so I'll ask the question =
before I forget:

Rather than dealing with the FLSM to VLSM issues, has anyone used policy =
routing to set a default-route for IGRP/RIP routes outbound to a VLSM =
domain like the following theoretical route-map...

interface serial 0
 ip policy route-map default-out
!
route-map default-out
 match ip address 0.0.0.0
 set ip next-hop X.X.X.X
