RSVP bandwidth too high

my IOS has an interesting output when I enter
ip rsvp bandwidth 100000 100

on an ethernet interface - version 11.2 JS

Seriously tho, does any one know if static RSVP resv messages are =
supposed to propogate back up to the sender.

when I create an static RSVP_PATH with the "ip rsvp sender" then it =
propogates automatically, and I can see it in the "sh ip rsvp sender" at =
the router closest to the destination net

however when I create an RSVP_RESV with the "ip rsvp reservation" =
command it goes no further than the local routers reservation database - =
ie it doesnt propogate back up the tree to the router closest to the =
sender

does anyone have some experience here with static rsvp reserves?

Cheers

Simon
