Isn't the circuit types wrong. Specify on both interfaces that you want the
circuit types to be level-1-2. I know that these are the defaults
"normally" but with the error message below it would say to me that the BVI
interface has defaulted to a L1 circuit.

as a follow up to the below email, When doing a debug isis adj, I receive
the message:

ISIS-Adj: new SNPA **Unknown SNPA type** (BVI3), cir type L1

I am trying to setup ISIS over a BVI port. I will make the topology simple:
      Vlan 3 ISL Trunk
R5----------Cat5------R6

R5 never seams to see any ISIS LSA packets from R6. I have no problem
pinging.
