Hello everyone,

I recently subscribed to this list having passed the written in
December and booked the lab for June.

I will be attending a pre lab course run by Azlan Training in the UK.
The course is in two parts, the first (March) being aimed at passing
the written so it will be revision for me but that's no bad things as
my pass mark was not high. The second part (June) is the pre lab
course itself.

I have access to a lab consisting of about nine 2500 routers, one 7513,
and possibly a switch on its way. I can use this lab about one day in
every seven. My job involves accessing routers for configuration and
troubleshooting on a daily basis. I am reading Doyle, Caslow, Perlman,
and several others books.

FWIW - regarding the unsupportive employer question. One option is to
offer to sign a "clawback" agreement whereby you pay back to the
employer a proportion of your training cost. The proportion lessens as
the months pass.

Regards
Ben
