If you have a choice 2514's are much better than 2501's or the like. They
have 2 Serial lines and 2 ethernet lines. With only 2 Ser and 1Eth you are
much more limited. try to get a 2522 or something like it with 4 or more
Serial ports so you can setup various types of Frame clouds. Granted with a
new house and new baby you may not be on unlimited funds, so you will have
to make the most of whatever you can get.
Good Luck,

Steve

Subject: New to the List

Hello,

I am another newbie. I passed the written a June 13 of last year. I am
scheduled for RTP June 10,11. I am getting in just under the wire. I
haven't had much time to study since I bought my first house and am
expecting my first child in a couple of weeks. Some how I don't think this
is going to be helpful in studying, but I am going to give it a try. I am
currently assembly equipment for my POD. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. I currently reside in Canton, MI.
