As long as your putting together a master plan. Let me throw one more item
in, because you have the time, and may be able to pull it off. Cisco's stats
show that people who take the ASET class, then the lab, back to back have a
much higher pass rate. The reason for this is that you spend 2 to 3 days in
the ASET lab, doing a fake CCIE lab test. At that point you are used to
thinking in the right mode, not walking out the door blaming your self for
dumb mistakes.

Thanks to everyone for all the replies to my question this morning.
Everybody had the same opinion and confirmed what I was told;
* 4-6 weeks before your lab exam is the "ideal" time to take the ECP1
course, no sooner and definitely no later. *
