    I definitely agree -- BUT, make SURE you're not going to do what I did,
and take the course 3.5 months before your lab. That was WAY too early in
the game for me -- I got a healthy reality check from the course at that
time, but I got tied up with client junk afterwards, forgot what new stuff I
experienced, and did not pass my lab the first time (waah, waaah, waaaah).
IF I could do it over again, and even forget what I now know about the CCIE
Lab in Halifax, I would take ECP1 no more than 6 weeks before my lab date.
I felt it was a HIGHLY accurate representation of what I experienced in the
lab. With the deletions of certain topics from the lab, the ECP1 course has
been changed, and I've actually thought about going back to take it again
before my second lab attempt in late March... Bottom line tho -- PRACTICE,
PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! BTW, the Broadwing CCIE Lab here in Reston was an
exceptionally useful experience -- I also highly recommend that if you
can...
