The all-in-one ccie lab study guides has this configuration with and without
frame maps.

Chech out this url on the cisco web site:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/779/smbiz/service/configs/framerelay/fr_i
p.htm

If you have a 4000 router or one which has 4 serial interfaces, you can use
that to build
your frame switch. Let the frame relay cloud in this example show you what
the frame switch should look like. Set the router to use frame-relay
switching; set the interface type to DCE; set the clockrate to clock the DTE
for whatever speed you desire, e.g. (clockrate 64000) and set the switch to
route between a defined PVC and a specific serial port. Last but not least,
don't forget to set the encapsulation to frame relay and lmi-type to ansi
(you could also use ietf).

Give it a try to see if you can get it to work and if you have some
difficulties, post your config here so that other members on this list can
provide some help to you. I think the only way we can learn this stuff is
by doing it; even if it does not work the first time...dj
