set multicast router

hi,

don't know the purpose of the command 'set multicast router',look for cd and fi
nd the explain is very simple,so I guess if we config 'set multicast router 2/1
' on cat5000,and open cgmp at 5000,the 5000 will flood all multicast to port 2/
1,if we open cgmp on 5000 but not use 'set multicast router 2/1' and the router
 connect to 2/1 not open cgmp,the 5000 will not propogate multicast packet to 2
/1. am i right?
