Keeping DDR interfaces quiet

Hi,

For snapshot routing for IPX, if I block any RIP/SAP traffic as interesting
traffic, does snapshot routing still work (i.e. does it override the
interesting traffic list, establish a connection for x minutes then go
quiet?).

Can someone please confirm I have the following guidelines correct for each
protocol:

IP:

Use Passive Interfaces in Routing Protocols to keep DDR interface quiet
For routing use static/floating statics/snapshot/demand circuit.

IPX:

Use access-list to keep line quiet:

access-list 900 deny any any all any rip
access-list 900 deny any any all any sap
access-list 900 deny any any all any 457
access-list 900 deny any any all any 456
access-list 900 permit any any all any all

dialer-list 1 protocol ipx list 900

For routing use static/floating/snapshot.
For EIGRP could use LONG timers

Appletalk:

Use no appletalk send-rtmps under DDR interface.
For routing use static/floating/snapshot
For EIGRP could use LONG timers
