Whenever I do this and reset BGP, the state remains in Active, but never
becomes Established. Here are the relevant configs of both internal routers.
R3
router bgp 300
neighbor 180.10.1.6 remote-as 300
neighbor 180.10.1.6 update-source Loopback0
neighbor 180.10.2.1 remote-as 100
R4
router bgp 300
neighbor 180.10.1.3 remote-as 300
neighbor 180.10.1.3 update-source Loopback0
neighbor 192.168.2.5 remote-as 500
If I remove the update-source command and reset BGP, then everything becomes
Established without a problem. Has anybody else seen this problem or have
any ideas?
