Thanks again Greg.
Another thing or two.
Like the Cat5k, does the 3920 need to have it's VTP stuff set up before you
can create new TrC/BRFs?
I've read you can only associate the default TrCRF with the default TrBRF.
If you create a new TrBRF, bridge number 5, create two new TrCRFs, numbers
6&7 and add some ports to the 'CRFs.
If you then connect ring #7 to a router and want to SRB to the devices on 6
ie the rif will have 7 5 6 for rn-bn-rn...does the BRF need to be set up as
a SRB 'BRF?
Is it the 'BRF that's configured as a SRB or TB? When would you use the TB
function?
Also, another more generic bridging question....
The token ring interfaces on routers support the addition of bridge groups
as well as SRB. When would you use the following :
int tok0
bridge-group 1
???
cheers,
Simon
