Simon,
Here's the simple way to do it. If you need two rings to be separated and
are configuring them on the same 3900, you need to configure two TrBRFs (the
VLANs) and one TrCRF assigned to each TrBRF.
The TrBRFs create a layer 2 boundary that can only be crossed using a layer
3 device. This will give you enough separation to create multiple rings in
your 3900.
TrCRFs can bridge between each other within a TrBRF. This is not what you
want. AppleTalk will bomb out on you if configured this way.
