I think the best way to gather a list is simply through practice labs. I
couldn't believe the number of things that didn't work the way I thought
they should when I first began my CCIE preparation.

I think you'll find the most landmines by doing frame scenarios with
different protocols, and ISDN. Those seem to be the areas most people miss.
