I was unable to a a token ring interface peering with an ethernet
interface that was the active one in a HSRP pair. Didn't try it with the
virtual address (maybe I should have). Got the token ring end peering
with another ethernet okay. Has anyone any tips on this and any
experiences with other standby type interfaces such as ISDN back up for
dlsw? I have been previously advised to use physical interfaces for dlsw
instead of loopbacks, although I had trouble getting IBGP peering
between loopbacks but was okay on physicals, although I swear I read in
the Caslow book to use loopbacks?
Any advice?
Thanks,
Eddie.
