I'm still happy about it all - if anything new gets added, you get notice
about 6mths prior
to it's introduction.

What is the "new" way you are referring to? I assumed I had to know
standard PVC and SVC configuration, CLIP, and LANE...Am I missing something
?
I would estimate that a solid month of my study time was dedicated to all

of these topics that have been removed....The two things I have the least
access to are ATM and Voice equipment, and I guarantee they start pounding
the voice and QOS stuff....I have the lab in two weeks and I figured if I
knew everything else cold, I could scrape by on voice and QOS abd still do
alright (maybe not the best attitude, I know, but you make due with what ya

have). A little advance notice would have been great....Why can they tell
us now that Appletalk is gone in 4 months and everything else gets yanked
today? Did they just realize today that Apollo and XNS aren't too relevant

anymore? If so, who is planning on using Appletalk for 4 more months and
then scrapping it? Nothing like getting blindsided to clear your
head....I'm off to dig for more voice material....Good luck all....Jack
