FYI,
Whenever I've played with AppleTalk over tunnel (GRE,
AURP, an Cayman) it seems to be finicky. Everything is
configured properly tunnel wise and the tunnel was up
but not passing appletalk. To fix this I shutdown the
tunnel interfaces and brought them back up and they
started working. Sometimes I have to reset the
interface on one end only, and sometimes rebooting
helps. Can't explain it.
However I did have trouble getting Appletalk EIGRP
without RTMP working on a BVI. Couldn't ping it from
another router.
