    Alberto, it depends on the size of your pipes at both ends. If you have
a T-1 at one end servicing a bunch of 64K links on the other end, you may
only want to shape traffic on the subs on the main link so they don't
overwhelm the 64k's.
    The important thing to note, which you have noted, is that it is
unidirectional in nature.
