I didn't see the summary route in the routing table, although I believe I did s
ee an entry in sh ip ospf database. I didn't try rebooting the routers, I'll t
ry that.

Did you see the summarized route in R4 pointing to
Null0 (if you're using summary-address command) or /24
routes (mask used by IGRP domain)if you're using area
range command on OSPF speaking routers? If it is there
than you should be able to see the routes in IGRP
domain. I did this lab. with all physical
non-broadcast some time ago and I had no problems.
Sometimes you have to reboot the routers to get null0
route in the routing table. May be a code problem. I
sometimes have to reboot my routers to get null0 route
when I use summary address command under ospf process.
