show lane client will show you all the VCDs. The ATM address listed for the "
configure" VCD will be the LECS address. But if you haven't entered it and the
1010 is not giving it to you, there won't be an address there.
show lane client will also show you the ATM address you are using on the LANE c
lient. Is it the same as the address in the 3620 error message?. If it is, ch
eck to be sure you either have the elan name specified in your lane client stat
ement or have a default elan listed in the LECS database.

Okay, if he won't provide his esi & sel for the lecs, then he must have his
lecs configured on the well-known lecs address (fixed address - check doc.s
for command(as I recall - 'atm config-fixed-address' - not exactly right,
but something along those lines)), or he's using the well-known vci/vpi pair
- 0 17.
