Situation: I have configured LECS, LES/BUS and LEC on a router, according to
DOC CD specs.
Problem: Though the LEC shows operational and connected, and I can ping my own
subinterface, I cannot ping another LEC on the same network.
I believe this is dure to the fact that I have not specified the VLAN ID # in
the "lane client..." command. The cd doesn't really discuss this (at least
according to
http://127.0.0.1:8080/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios113ed/113ed_cr/switch_c/xcl
ane.htm#xtocid2066227),
but page 395 of the Cisco LAN Switching book seems to indicate that this is
necessary to get the LECs on the same broadcast domain.
Is this correct? I don't have access to ATM stuff at the moment to check this
out.
